2. Child Privacy & COPPA Compliance

We take the protection of student and child data extremely seriously. TicketsIOA is designed to be fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Our Privacy Guarantee:

•We NEVER sell, trade, rent, or monetize personal information of children, students, or event buyers to third-party brokers.
•Student, athlete, and participant details are used strictly for event admission, roster verification, and box office logistics.
•Parents and organizations maintain absolute, total control over all associated data and can request modifications or deletion at any time.

3. How We Use and Share Information

We utilize your information to support, verify, and streamline transactions on our platform. Sharing is limited to the following essential workflows:

Event Hosts & Organizers

Attendee details (names, ticket statuses, custom options) are shared directly with verified event managers to allow gating and scanning at venues.

Stripe & Payment Providers

Transaction payloads are securely routed to Stripe to process payments and handle chargebacks, refunds, and transfer logs.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use secure, essential cookies to keep you logged in, save local configurations, and process ticket orders. We do not track you across other websites or sell web behavior to advertisement profiles.

5. Advanced Data Security

TicketsIOA uses bank-level data encryption, JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for authentication, and strict PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) policies. This ensures your information is locked and only accessible by authorized users or coordinators.
